I love sports, especially football which is my favourite sport, and I grew up playing it. Today, more than forty years later, I still enjoy playing the game with other football enthusiasts on Sundays.
Active sports life combined with multiple falls and collisions caused my knees to wear out and to produce bone spurs. In 2006 and 2007, two football accidents resulted in a torn meniscus on my left knee, and it had to be surgically repaired and the bone spurs removed.
After the operation, due to insufficient rehabilitation treatment, the muscle of the left knee atrophied, and the muscle strength was significantly weakened. Walking was mainly supported by the right foot. Weakened left knee caused imbalances, and I could no longer walk naturally as before. Over the years, the knee sometimes suffered sudden pain. In addition, due to long working hours with my head down while using the computer caused back scapula pain for more than 20 years.
I saw the advertisement of Bai Yin Qigong in the English Newspaper last October and participated in the talk at Suntec City. I immediately signed up for YoungQi class. To this day, with the help of the squats in HarmonyQi and YoungQi, and slow squats that are gentle and rejuvenating, my knees are stronger. Detoxification techniques (Dǒu zhuó and Dǒu dān) also made my calf stronger and more stable when walking.
The severe shoulder scapular pain has been greatly relieved through the shoulder rotation of the YoungQi (Rejuvenation) and the palm trembling in Harmony Qi. These methods have greatly relieved the pressure and helped resolve my pain of many years.
During this period of isolation, even the park is closed. Fortunately, with Bai Yin Qigong, I can practise without going outdoor, and rely on qigong exercises to enhance my immunity.
Thank you to Bai Yin Qigong, <A day of practise generates a day’s benefit> I will continue to work hard. Everyone, let’s make an all-out effort together.
